Submit to Liminal

If you resonate with our aims and vision, we encourage you to submit to Liminal.

We're looking for writing of all genres that align with our vision and aims. We tend to prefer creative nonfiction and essay style, though we're open to poetic essays, fiction, experimental works, analytic essays, and artwork.

Please note that if you submit to Liminal, your piece will go through an editorial process. It will change, and almost certainly become shorter: words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs may be removed. You'll get the chance to approve all editorial changes before your piece is published. Maximum word count is 2000, and we encourage shorter pieces under 1000. While we are not in a position to pay writers at this time, you'll be adding your voice to a collective endeavor of authoring our way to a new paradigm.

Reprints accepted, but please let us know where your piece has been published. Simultaneous submissions accepted, but let us know if your piece is accepted elsewhere.

To submit to Liminal, email your piece to liminal.literary@gmail.com as a .doc or .docx file. Our next issue will be on the theme of Automaton and the deadline is May 1st. We're looking for topical, controversial, hot writing, with a heart.

We look forward to reading your submissions!
